Our premium features Hawke Low Profile Dump Trailers are offered in 7,000, 10,000, 12,000, and 14,000 lb. GVWR's -- as well
as a heavy duty 15,000 GVWR version. Scissor lift is standard as are
slide-in loading ramps. The sides are 24" tall with two-way tailgates
that open for unobstructed dumping or can be set in spreader mode for
spreading gravel. An adjustable coupler is included as standard. The
7,000 and 10,000 GVWR models have a 6" channel main frame. The 12,000
and 14,000 GVWR models are built with a rugged 8" channel main frame.
Cylinder sizes are matched to the model capacity. The 7,000 through
14,000 GVWR models employ the standard duty scissor lift. The 15,000
GVWR heavy duty version adds a super duty scissor lift with 5" cylinder
and G range radial tires. The tongue upgrades to 8" channel and floor
crossmembers are 12" on center making this trailer suitable for heavy
duty commercial applications. These changes are highlighted in bold type
on the specs page. Dexter brand axles along with premium Westlake
radial tires on all models provide a long life running gear.
